She closed her eyes,

And tears freely came out.

It seemed like she was getting scorched.

She wanted to give up.

To just die.

It was too hard,

But they had all told her it was going to be worth it.

That this would be one of the best moments in her life.

That these hours that seemed unending,

Would seem like seconds when it was all over.

She screamed, and gripped the sheets.

All she heard around her was voices.

It sounded like flies were trying to talk at the same time,

All wanting to get the most attention.

Now, she felt the burn in her opening.

On impulse, she tightened it,

But the shout became more.

She wanted to shout.

“Burn!”

But nothing was coming out.

Squezzing her eyes shut,

She focused on the one thing that mattered now.

And pushed.

She heard cheers around her.

She heard more encouragement.

She heard the voice of her husband,

And she pushed.

After a while, the burn stopped,

Amd she heard more cheers.

She felt an arm wrap around her.

She felt her fore head been kissed.

She started loosing it.

She heard the cry,

She felt the joy.

And her eyes responded.

It closed.

Never to open again.
